Working with long term partner Fisher & Dean we undertook the full groundworks package for 8 new build affordable homes at Corsley Heath. Including all S278 entrance works and services integration, new highway, foundations, drainage including foul pumping station and off-site connections, large infiltration pond and external works.

As part of an agreement with Wiltshire Council, Fisher & Dean are constructing a number of MMC sites for them utilising the same off-site modules. We have also completed similar projects for Fisher & Dean / Wiltshire Council in Durrington and another with 10 units is underway in Rowde.

The project involves working with tight tolerances for BCL, ensuring that when the modular homes are landed on to our fully prepared foundations they are level and construction can continue to complete the houses.

The homes themselves are built in a factory off site by Rollalong and are net-zero. They arrive with the kitchen and bathroom already installed saving time on site. These highly insulated, draught free properties have air source heating and are zero carbon in use.
