Ark Spring Park is an ultra secure data centre consisting of 27 data centres within 6 purpose built buildings, on a 38 acre high security data centre campus owned and operated by Ark. Including 200,000 square feet of IT space and designed to offer 46MW of IT load.

 

BCL were appointed to undertake the Groundworks package which consisted of

 

• Cut and fill/re-profiling

• Infrastrucutre (Highways and Drainage)

• Energy centre construction

• Deep and reinforced foundations

• All external works

• Utilities

• RC floor slabs and mezzanine floor slabs

 

BCL had to work in a secure environment delivering these data centres in close collaboration with the end user Ark.
